Our Story

TurboSector was founded in 2021 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who felt that Australian gaming media lacked the depth, honesty, and community focus that local players deserved. What started as a small blog covering indie titles has grown into one of Australia's most-read gaming platforms, with a dedicated team of reviewers, esports analysts, and community managers.

We believe that game reviews should be thorough, unbiased, and written by people who genuinely love the medium. Every title we cover receives dozens of hours of playtime before a single word is written. Our tournament coverage is equally rigorous — we attend events in person wherever possible, interview players and organisers, and provide the kind of detailed bracket analysis that competitive gaming fans crave.

TurboSector is proudly independent. We are not owned by any publisher, developer, or gaming hardware company. This independence allows us to call games as we see them, without commercial pressure influencing our scores or editorial direction.
